A little update on what is happening during the first week.

 Kia ora,

 

This year is starting a little different, with normal classes beginning on Thursday 4th. 

 

On the 3rd we will be having a "meet the teacher day" - which is not compulsory.  It is a chance to visit School (anytime between 9am and 3pm) before formal classes start to introduce children to their new class and teacher, or just to pop by for a chat.

 

On Friday 5th we have School photos and we start our swimming sessions with JC Swim School. (Don't worry, I have arranged for us to have our photos taken before we leave.)

 

Swimming sessions begin Friday 5th and finish on Friday 19^th of February (NB: 10 Lessons).

 

Our time will be between 11:30 – 12:00.

 

We will be leaving at 11.00 am and aim to be back at School by 12.30 pm.

 

If you are able to assist by walking the children to and from the pool please let Shane know via email (shane@georgestreet.school.nz) any days that you are able to help.
